Spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal pumps
Medical Service offers a range of rechargeable and non-rechargeable spinal cord neurostimulators all with MRI-compatible technology, complemented by a line of leads of various lengths and number of stimulating poles.
Medical Service offers a unique totally implanted MRI-compatible device for drug administration within the subarachnoid space, consisting of a programmable rechargeable pump and a dedicated spinal catheter. The pump allows it to be programmed for various types of administration with different drugs depending on the patient’s pathology.
Inceptiv™ Neurostimulator
Rechargeable spinal cord stimulator with sensing technology
Inceptiv™ is the most advanced SCS system with 1-3 closed-loop technology for chronic pain relief.

Fixed output systems do not account for variations in lead-to-spinal cord distance, which can result in inconsistent therapeutic dose 4 and compromise patient experience.
With fixed output systems, patients must make changes to deliver optimal therapy, regardless of the waveform. Underdosing and overdosing can lead to variable therapeutic experience.

Intellis™ LT
- The smallest fully implantable spinal cord neurostimulator
- Recharge in ~1 hour, from fully discharged to fully charged (estimated time)
- Optimized battery performance with minimal capacity loss (<5%)
- Designed for patient comfort and more flexible positioning during implantation
Unparalleled access to full body MRI
- SureScan™ MRI technology enables MRI scans of any part of the body, thus enabling diagnostic assistance.
- Give patients the same access as non-implanted patients, now and in the future.
- The device’s shielded cables and proprietary protections help patients undergo MRI safely.
- Access is important: 98% of patients are expected to need at least 1 MRI within 10 years of implantation. 5
Unparalleled access to full body MRI
- AdaptiveStim™ technology automatically tailors therapy to maintain the optimal dose.
- 86.5% of patients reported better pain relief and/or convenience with AdaptiveStim™ technology compared with nonadaptive stimulation 6 .
- Offered exclusively by Medtronic.
Vanta™ SCS Neurostimulator
Device without charging
Vanta™ SCS gives you an advantage over pain. This high-performance device without charging offers optimized longevity, DTM™ SCS resistance programming, and unobstructed MRI access.*

The Medtronic Implantable Neurostimulation System is indicated for Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) as an aid in the management of chronic untreatable trunk and/or limb pain, including unilateral obilateral pain associated with the following conditions:
- Failed back syndrome (FBS) or low back syndrome or back error
- Radicular pain syndrome or radiculopathies causing pain secondary to FBS or herniated disc
- Post-laminectomy pain
- More back operations
- Unsuccessful disc surgery
- Degenerative Disk Disease (DDD)/disk herniation pain refractory to conservative and surgical treatment
- Peripheral Causalgia
- Epidural fibrosis
- Arachnoiditis or lumbar adhesive arachnoiditis
- Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (Reflex
Sympathetic Dystrophy, RSD) or causalgia
Multi-programmable pumps for severe spasticity and chronic and oncological pain

Targeted drug delivery systems
The SynchroMed ™ || programmable implantable pump delivers drug into the intrathecal space via an implanted catheter. SynchroMed ™ Il pumps can be managed using the Control WorkflowSM approach, designed to eliminate systemic opioids and provide effective pain relief.
Synchromed T™ III
SynchroMed ™ Ill is an implantable targeted drug infusion system that helps manage chronic pain, cancer pain, and severe spasticity.

Simple, safe and effective intrathecal therapy made possible
Unlike drugs that must be absorbed systemically and cross the blood-brain barrier, a programmable pump and implanted SynchroMed ™™ III| catheter deliver prescribed amounts of drug directly into the intrathecal space.
Targeted drug delivery (TDD) in the intrathecal space provides effective relief at a fraction of the systemic dose, which can reduce side effects. 1-3

The SynchroMed ™ IlI implantable infusion system provides:
- State-of-the-art pump electronics to enable long-term reliability and wireless
firmware upgrade to facilitate expanded capabilities - End-to-end cybersecurity controls for better protection of patient data
- Recharge-only workflow, allowing shorter and more consistent update duration during this common
interaction with the medical device - Continued peace of mind thanks to the proven durable design improvements built into the SynchroMed™ II pump, which increased the pump’s survival rate to 99%.*
